To begin the trek, you take a thrilling flight that will lead you to the starting point of the trek, Lukla. This short flight offers one of the most beautiful views of the Himalayas. From here, the trail descends to Phakding via Cheplung village. You get to see superb views of Mt. Khumbila and Kusum Kanguru on the way.

    After having breakfast, you begin ascending through small villages like Jorsale and Monjo. From Monjo onwards, Sagarmatha National Park begins. The trail passes by the park crossing several bridges and streams. While trekking, you get to see a diverse range of flora and fauna. Namche Bazar will welcome you with stunning views of Konde Ri and Mt. Thamserku.

      You spend an extra day in Namche Bazar for acclimatization. You will explore the village and its surrounding areas. Everest, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Thamserku, Mt. Ama Dablam, etc. Also, make sure to visit Everest Photo Gallery and Sherpa Culture Museum.

        The trail from Namche Bazar ascends and takes you to Phungki Thanka. Following the right side of the Dudh Koshi River, you pass by dense forests of rhododendron to reach Tengboche. From this village, you can see various Himalayan mountains. You will visit the Tengboche monastery, which is the oldest monastery in the Khumbu region.

          Crossing the Imja River over a suspension bridge, you gradually ascend to Dingboche village, which is also known as the Summer Valley. The trail offers wonderful views of snow-capped mountains like Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Lhotse, Island Peak, etc.

            The trail from Dingboche moves to Dhungla. Passing by the Trekkers Aid Post at Pheriche village, you climb to Chupki Lhara. Further, enjoying the marvelous views of the snow-covered mountains, you reach Lobuche village, situated on the lap of Mt. Lobuche.

              Today is the big day as the trail will lead you to the lap of the world's highest mountain, Mt. Everest. From Lobuche, you gradually ascend and reach Gorak Shep. The trail then moves along the glacier moraine and reaches the base camp. You can get to see stunning views of the Himalayas along with Khumbu Icefall from the Everest Base Camp. After spending some time here, you drop down to Gorak Shep for a night's stay.

                Wake up early in the morning and hike to Kala Patthar to witness a glorious sunrise. The trail that leads to Kala Patthar will be rugged and snowy. During the flight, you get to see aerial views of the Himalayas.
