In the early morning, you leave Kathmandu and drive to the airport with our team. A short scenic flight will take you to Lukla, from where the trek begins. Because the elevation gain between Kathmandu and Lukla is drastic, we'll descend to Phakding village to spend the night. The trail follows alpine woodlands via small villages and crosses a few bridges on the Dudh Koshi river. The walk is short and gentle.

    Leaving Phakding village, you begin trekking through small villages, crossing hanging bridges over the Dudh Koshi river frequently. The trail takes you to Monjo and further continues along the Sagarmatha National Park. On the way, you can see diverse flora and fauna. Trekking through lush magnolia and rhododendron forests, ascend to Namche Bazaar. It is the tourist hub in the Khumbu region and the gateway to the Everest base camp.

      You cannot leave Namche Bazaar without spending one more day here and exploring it. Early in the morning, the guide will take you to Hotel Everest View via Syangboche Airstrip.           The 5 Days Shortest Everest Base Camp Trek with Helicopter Return begins from Kathmandu. You have to be available in Kathmandu on the given date to join the trek. Our team will pick you up from your hotel lobby on the day we fly to Lukla airport. The flight will be fantastic, with stunning aerial views of the Himalayas. On the same day, you fly to Lukla you'll descend to Phakding village. 

          From Lukla, Phakding is situated approximately 4 hours away. The trail drops down, following lush woodlands and the Dudh Koshi river. Namche Bazaar will welcome you with the heartwarming welcome of the Sherpas and enchanting scenery. You'll spend the remaining day relaxing and looking around the village. The following day, wake up early in the morning, and hike to Syangboche Airstrip. The hike is rough and offers striking mountain views.

          From Syangboche begins the next adventurous part of our short Everest base camp trekking, the helicopter flight up to Everest base camp with landing at Kala Patthar. Flying over the verdant river valleys, terraces, hills, and Sherpa villages, you ascend to Kala Patthar.
